Storyline:

In the year 3037, the entirety of California had been completely flattened by the technocratic warfare that had raged on since the start of 2090. As of recently, the rest of the nation had not exactly fared much better. The division that the vocal minority had wrecked via the internet had now well and truly become the norm, in a disturbing turn of events which had seen far too many of its unsuspecting citizens wrongfully accused of the worst kind of sacilege and vitriol by its most bigoted adherents to the system.

Millions had fled the nation at a time. They had travelled far and wide to a brand new nation known as Kroft XP74 in serach of a utopian hideout, away from the land of self-righteous bureaucracy that had pulversized every avenue within the broken nation, and had been drilled through every orifice within your brain. For a while, Kroft XP74's system had worked a treat with its new residents, as it had seen a rise in opportunities for every background in a way that made it feel like everything was back to normal, without the modern division and civil warfare they saw a century back.

But gradually, as the most extremist adherents had found a way to hack into XP74's system in a way that could either make or break a nation, depending on how prepared you were to fend the parasites off, the veneer had cracked. Now the citizens, not for the last time, had begun to wonder if the world would ever be the same again.
