About this track

The ones who try to drag you down are the very same people who probably have a fair amount of insecurities themselves. As a result, those people constantly feel the need to have a status just to get by. If ever you find yourself in an altercation with one of these people, the culprit always finds a way to hype themselves up. In an insane world, if you lose to the culprit, you get mocked. If you win the fight, you get mocked.

You can choose to sit there and take it like a little puppet, or retaliate and let the motherfuckers know that you are the last person they want to try to drag down. If you stand your ground well enough, rise above it and keep hustling for your goals in life, you'll only become a bigger and stronger person in every respect.

Let them remember how it made you feel the first time they tried to hurt you. They'll either start to show genuine remorse for their actions, or they won't. Either way, you alone can send a powerful statement. It's ultimately up to you to decide how you do it.

To the people in my life who betrayed/abused my trust, to the people who tried to push me to the point of contemplating if it would have made a difference whether I was gone…

You know who you are.
