About this release

The Concept:

Fate, In Silence Minor is focused purely on the music. There are no lyrics, and no words, to get in the way. Instrumentals allow you to hear all of the complexities of what the artist has written without the distraction of words.

Instrumentals release your mind to run free. To interpret, identify and internalize without correction or compromise. They allow you to use your imagination.

The Music:

Fate, In Silence Minor is a special compilation from artists in the Abrasive Monologues artist roster. Abrasive Monologues is made up of talented artists from varied genres and the album wanders eloquently through the changing moods and tonalities of each artists as their collective identities bloom, and grow.

The Artwork:

The artwork for Fate, In Silence Minor, represents three booming seeds, each one representing one of the the three fates. The roots intertwine over and over again creating a fractal pattern that envelops the rest of the image. The symbology mirrors the intent of the album, demonstrating that music is not just one thing, one tonality, one personality, but many. The songs on the album have been arranged to flow into each other. Making one musical canvas from heavy hitting forces like Kian Dray and Jon Hadley to the somberness of Truck Dog and the Go People, to the bouncy positivity of Pixie Post and everyone in between.

David Von Beahm

David Von Beahm

Location: MD, USA

Bio:

Drawing inspiration from the likes of Duran Duran, Bauhaus, and The Cure, Von Beahm crafts lush, layered soundscapes built for headphones and midnight drives. Every track reflects a deep-rooted commitment to sonic detail and emotional texture, shaped by years of experimentation behind the scenes. A Taurus through and through, he approaches music with patience, persistence, and a sensual ear for harmony and contrast. Though he avoids the spotlight of live performance, his recorded output speaks volumes—intimate, and timelessly cool.

Jon Hadley

Jonathan Hadley

Bio:

Jonathan Hadley is a musician and producer whose work explores atmosphere, texture, and emotionally direct songwriting. He is the founder of Abrasive Monologues, an independent artist collective and label, and releases music both under his own name and through collaborative projects within the roster.

Jon Hadley writes music like memories… out of order, half-lit, and sharper than it should be. As the founder of Abrasive Monologues, he builds sonic and narrative spaces where friction is never a flaw… it’s the point. His work moves between music, philosophy, and narrative realism, often circling themes of cost, love, and structural truth. When he’s not writing, he’s architecting systems that let other artists do the same… louder, cleaner, and with more control than the industry ever wanted to give them.
