Sometime things hurt you… They leave scars that affect your life far beyond the day they occurred. Some people let those things eat them. Some people find a way to redefine themselves into something they choose for themselves. They do that through expression, chosen family, visual and musical art. The independent music community is filled with people’s damage that has been transmuted into something true. Maybe something lasting, and beautiful. Damages, with Jonathan Hadley explores the indie space looking for the stories that make behind the songs. Damages has a lot of definitions, and not all of them are doom and gloom. Damage can from childhood, adulthood, society… There are endless sources of damage to explore.
