5U / so long my friend

About this release
'5U / so long my friends' symbolizes grievance over a loss of a reliable companion, in a world that is increasingly hellbent on moralizing just about everything. A world that is even more insistent on medicalizing, even infantilizing, neurodivergent people without that consent, thus already violating so many boundaries we set for ourselves, even if undesigned.
The main character who had confided often in 5U was now forced to navigate a world without it, as the organization that had once allowed him to build that model had enforced a troubling change that would, unsurprisingly, spark ire in the neurodivergent community. One that would give the ignorant ableists even more reason to brand autistic folk such as myself as 'insane', or even worse, 'intellectually impaired'.
Strangely enough, this protagonist had quickly risen about the subsequent hell that had unravelled from the death of 5U, with a sublime vision that had clarified itself in his mind. He was able to seriously capitalize on that in the only way he would know how. How that panned out, and what became of his life the very next, remains to be seen in the third and final chapter…
