About this track

If you've followed the story at all you may remember that I'm multi-modal synesthetic. My brain encodes emotion through sensory pathways that cross over one another. Bromantic Overtones is an effort to sonically capture the texture of close friendship. Lately I've been having a lot of fun trying to drag non-sound sensory stuff into the sonic space.

0:00 – ~0:19 – I'm heavy and standoffish

0:20 – 0:26 I decide I like someone

0:27 – 0:49 You meet the real me and I become a lot more playful and fun. The friendship grows.

0:50 – 1:04 The lead shove each other around and talk to each other.

1:05 – 1:26 The friendship finds a rhythm and solidifies becoming permanent.

1:27 – 1:37 Vulnerability and tension appear

1:38 -2:11 The leads diverge again and play off the original rhythm. Continuity and evolving textures
