Prequel to Project Sacrilege (2071 to 2092), revolving around a long time predecessor of the Vengeful One (now the Exultant One) before he had unfrozen in 2071.

Storyline:
Set in 2052, exactly four years prior a very terrible technocratic war that none had expected, which had seen an entire military fleet get ransacked beyond recognition within mere minutes of it soliders taking action. The Vengeful One's predecessor, Lockwood Waghorn, had reigned since the end of 2042 right up until his retirment in 2070, and had since seen the Vengeful One's resurgence in power as he had awakened the following year.

Waghorn, who had been certain until 2071 that the Vengeful One had come to a bad end, had seen his country through a series of dystopian bug bares and battles that had kept its businesses on edge, without even the faintest idea that the Vengeful One (who had later become the Exultant One in 2077) had always been five steps ahead, even when he was frozen in time.

The two didn't always see eye to eye, with the Vengeful One being a little less careful and a lot more consumed in his own rage, and often taking many risks that reflected badly on Waghorn as a result – but even when the Vengeful One had taken the reign, Waghorn had never had any illwill towards him. In fact, he had willingly given up his place to the Vengeful One, when everyone could see that he had become too frail and beaten down by the intensity of the work that was required. He knew that if anyone could come out of it whole, and unscathed, one way or another, and get his army out of the mess that SureFire had left them in, it would be the Vengeful One (an immortal, as he had soon come to discover himself).
